I have been way too busy to update the blog. I have a ton of new information. But before I spent anymore time updating my old MT blog, I wanted to migrate to Wordpress. In addition I did all of the work on this migration from my new Mac mini. I have been pretty impressed with it so far. I will post more about that later, but the short story: this linux bigot is impressed.

I have been thinking about it for a while now. I have arrived at the conclusion that I really enjoy writing. Hold on.. Let me restate that.. I really enjoy writing when it is something I want to do. There is no way I will admit to enjoying writing software specifications (which makes up most of my writing at work). I have enjoyed the few entries I have made into this blog. But I’m pretty sure that in the grand scheme of things, I suck at writing.

Okay, I am doing better than the 14 years olds that write with aLL tHe CaPS N StuFF aNd UsE WErdS LiKE L8R anD WerD. But I am not much better.

I am an avid reader. I really enjoy a good story. I think I have a creative streak in me. I don’t know if that creativity extends into a literary form. I suppose I will find out. Since I read so much, I thought I would try reading a few books about writing fiction and see where that takes me. Of course I have no time for any of this considering the kiddos etc. But who knows.. I might find something I like to do that is a good outlet for stress.

So in the mean time, I will be posting more things to the blog to see if I can find a bit of a voice.

On a whim I decided to start up one of these blog things I have been hearing about. I really just wanted a way to capture all the wonderful things that are happening way too quickly.

I feel like I blinked and my son is 4 and my daughter is 2. I hope to keep a diary of sorts here so that I can look back on all that has happened and maybe even show the kids some day.

The inspiration for the domain name came from trying to get both kids through a bath and into bed one night.
