I have a binary that works. I have the source code that built that binary. But I cannot build a binary from that source that will run without crashing. Oh and gdb is failing in strange ways on this box.

I love embedded programming.

I am working on a really cool project. And I just want to finish this prototype and get some performance numbers.  I am really confused as to how I got into this state. Hopefully I will resolve this quickly. 

The older two kids are getting to that "stop touching me" stage. You know, where you did exactly what your parents told you, but you did it in a way to maximize the annoyance of your sibling. Yes, those are fond memories for me as well.

Tonight Andrew started it and Tracy just kept saying "Get away!" about a billion and a half times.

Actually they have been doing great. A little "get away" and "stop touching me" is expected with how much rain we have been getting. I really don’t mind the cold. You expect cold during winter. When you start googling cubit and computing the number of trips to Home Depot and Lowe’s so you are ready to build the ark…

I searched around on the apple site for the resolution to the problem I mentioned here. Turned out not to be that hard to find the answer. iMovie requires that the project folder be on a Mac native filesystem. I did not know that. I formated the external drive and everything started working quite well.
